Feature purification and multimodal feedback for damaged architectural point clouds.
Overview
This project studies the completion of damaged ancient-architecture point clouds under deformation and noise. The work led to an authorized Chinese invention patent with Mingjia Chen as the first inventor.
Method
The pipeline combines manifold harmonic spectral features, adaptive neighborhoods, gated feature purification, point-cloud completion, and smoothing. A multimodal language model evaluates reconstruction results and adjusts key parameters through feedback.
